Sleep is important just as a balanced diet and physical exercise to live a healthy life. But, when we get a bust, sleep is the first thing we tend to neglect. There are a couple of reasons why sleep should not be neglected, and it can also become deadly.
The question arises about the time span of sleep a human needs. This question is subjective and depends on the age of a person and several other factors. Therefore, in this article, we will take a look at how much sleep a human needs.

- For infants between the age of 4 to 12 months require sleep of atleast 12-15 hours which also includes small naps.
- For toddlers around the age of 1-2 years need sleep of 11 to 14 hours.
- For preschoolers between the age of 3-5 years, 12 to 15 years which also includes naps because of initial school fatigue.
